The Department of Zoology emerged as an independent department in the year 1980. Most of the students graduating from this department have secured private or government jobs. More number of students are opting for higher education in each year.
At present the Department includes 10 teaching and 3 non-teaching staff besides a Departmental Library and a Musuem, 4 Classroom and 1 Laboratory.
